What this tool does
This tool compares two valid public IP addresses. It does not detect, classify, or verify a VPN, proxy, Tor connection, or hosting provider.
How to interpret the result
A different address shows that the public network exit changed between the two observations. Switching Wi-Fi, mobile data, routers, gateways, or a VPN can all change a public IP, so the comparison does not prove the cause.
A matching address means only that both observations used the same public IP. It does not verify whether a VPN is connected or whether traffic is following a particular route.
