IP Lookup

Validate and classify any IPv4 or IPv6 address. Public addresses may also include ASN and AS organization details when the local dataset is available.

Validation and scope classification are always available. ASN details appear only when this deployment has the local dataset.

Privacy and data source

Validation, normalization, and public-range classification are always performed locally. IPMora does not create a lookup history.

When the deployment has a current IPinfo Lite dataset, public-address results can also include ASN and AS organization. The queried address is not sent to IPinfo. ASN mappings can be stale or incomplete and identify network registration, not a person or exact physical location. IP address data powered by IPinfo.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does IPMora save the IP addresses I look up?

No. The address is processed for the current request and is not written to a database or lookup history.

Where do the ASN and AS organization details come from?

When available, public-address ASN details come from a local IPinfo Lite dataset. The queried IP stays inside the IPMora deployment. If the dataset is unavailable, validation and scope classification still work. IP address data powered by IPinfo.

Can I check both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses?

Yes. The validator accepts standard IPv4 and IPv6 notation, normalizes supported forms, and identifies the address version.
